[I] know it is hard to accept but Trump has been our president since Jan. 21 and it is time we acknowledge him as our president. You may not like him, he may be crude, rude and bombastic at times, but his demeanor can be attributable to his career in business and not being a “polished” politician who, more often than not, will tell you what you want to hear instead of the facts.

The Democrats’ biggest nightmare is for Trump’s tax plan to succeed because 80 percent of the country will see tax refunds and only 5 percent will see increases, and those are from high-incomes in blue states. All this is from the left-leaning Tax Policy Center and contrary to what Sens. Patrick Leahy and Bernie Sanders and Rep. Peter Welch are claiming. They cannot accept the facts as presented by the Wall Street Journal or the Heritage Foundation. They are in complete denial and their planned 2018 election tsunami might be in jeopardy.

The Democrats are looking to flip both the House and the Senate to their control in the coming elections and are working feverishly to derail Trump and his agenda. They refuse to give Trump any credit.

Take the Russian conspiracy probe that started in July 2016. The Democrats insisted a special counsel in Robert Mueller be hired in May 2017. Since May, Mueller has hired 13 attorneys (seven who were Clinton and/or Obama donors) and already spent more than $7 million with no end in sight and nothing to connect Trump to Russian interference, except a finding that Hillary Clinton had more contact with Russians than Trump did — who would have figured? They also found more bias on the part of the hired attorneys linking them to Clinton. This investigation is going nowhere and it is a waste of time and money. The Democrats are obsessed with this Russian probe. Just recently former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean insisted that Trump is going to fire Mueller because Mueller “has the goods” on Trump — really Howard, get serious! Trump has said he will not fire Mueller, but the Democrats are trying to bait Trump into firing him, but with the conflict and bias coming from his own investigators, it looks like Mueller might have to fire himself.

Meanwhile, we are experiencing the best economy in years, the highest confidence rate in over 20 years, the highest stock market in history, the lowest unemployment in 17 years, the best home sales in a decade, plus the highest number of Americans working in history, the biggest decline in SNAP recipients in years — because they are working. In June 2016, Obama claimed on PBS that manufacturing jobs are not coming back to the U.S. – so fast forward to November 2017 and Trump broke a decades-old trend and added 40,000 manufacturing jobs in one month. Trump has rolled back restrictive regulations to let business grow, he has slowed the globalization movement and stopped the open border policies. Trump, with the help of Gen. Jim Mattis has fully liberated Iraq from ISIS and almost out of Syria. Has anyone given Trump credit? Trump was a political novice who outmaneuvered 16 veteran Republicans and then outsmarted the Clinton machine, all with less money and less manpower to win, and yet a good share of the people won’t accept Trump as president, including all the Democrats in Congress.

As Conrad Black stated: “Donald Trump was a joke until nominated, unelectable until elected, incompetent until he succeeded on most fronts, and about to be impeached until he debunked the collusion nonsense; he has had a very successful year.”
