Community News Sharing Project
What it is
Recognizing that small Vermont news organizations often lack the resources needed to cover legislative and statewide issues, VTDigger now provides its news stories to 15 news outlets for free. Local papers can run our stories on their websites and in print, which means we are reaching more Vermonters than ever before, better fulfilling our mission. This work is funded through grants and donations supporting our General Operating Fund, which you can contribute to here.
How it works
VTDigger offers original reporting and photography to 15 community news organizations. The participating news outlets share their journalism with VTDigger — building awareness for their reporting, surfacing local issues to a statewide audience, and providing VTDigger readers with more local coverage.
