Cory Dawson, a video editor for the Vermont Cynic, the student newspaper for the University of Vermont, is producing short news narrative videos for VTDigger this summer. Last week, he created three 2-minute shorts on a new bill that allows for antibiotic treatment of Lyme disease, the opening of an urgent care center at Central Vermont Medical Center and John Bauerโs bid for lieutenant governor.

CVMC opens urgent treatment center
How many urgent treatment centers does it take to serve the Montpelier, Barre area? Three apparently. Central Vermont Medical Center opened its nonprofit urgent treatment center last week. Two more for-profit centers are in the works for the area, one run by ClearChoice, a New Hampshire company, and another by Concentra, a subsidiary of Humana Corporation. Read Morgan Trueโs story.
