The two bodies found in Eden on Wednesday were those of missing Massachusetts residents Jahim Solomon and Eric White, according to Vermont State Police.
Their identities were confirmed Thursday after an autopsy was completed at the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington.
Solomon, 21, of Pittsfield, died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head, while White, 21, of Chicopee, died of a single gunshot wound to the head, police said in a press release. Both of their deaths were ruled homicides.
No one has been arrested in connection with their deaths, and police said Thursday that they are pursuing leads and developing information about the case.
Solomon and White were reported missing by their families on Oct. 15, with reports made to both the Stowe Police Department and state police. The families reported the two men had been traveling together in the areas around Burlington, Lowell, Morrisville and Stowe.
Their bodies were discovered in a remote wooded area in Eden off the Albany-Eden Road.
