In regards to Burlington’s former director of diversity, equity and inclusion: “White supremacist.” “Racist.” “Miro is a white supremacist.” Wow! I’ve seen smoke screens before, but this much smoke could hide a tank regiment!
How about we use words like “incompetent,“ “divisive,” “not qualified.” These would be the words that any competent authority would use to describe the actions of Tyeastia Green during her tenure in Burlington. And Minneapolis.
I believe the report generated was watered down to be kinder to Green, who could be described as “disingenuous“ or “dishonest.” However this war on words is resolved, it’s clear that Ms. Green hides behind the color of her skin and not the content of her character.
(Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger) is many things. But a racist? Not in this reality. Bottom line is she should never have been hired.
