I appreciated Lee Russ’ satirical piece concerning poverty. Were he alive today, Jonathan Swift would have applauded. It brought to mind an excellent article from two days ago in the Guardian.

One of the article’s main points is that choice is a middle-class luxury that the poor do not share.
