Vermont reported 332 new Covid-19 cases, 45 hospitalizations and no additional deaths Wednesday.

The state’s seven-day average for new infections is 259, up from 256 on Tuesday, according to the Vermont Department of Health dashboard.

Vermont’s seven-day average test positivity rate was 11.3% Wednesday, up from 11.2% on Tuesday. (The test positivity rate includes only PCR tests, not at-home antigen tests.)

The health department reported that 45 people were hospitalized with Covid as of Wednesday, up from 40 on Tuesday. That includes two people in intensive care, the same as on Tuesday.

The health department reported no additional Covid deaths on Wednesday. In total, 626 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic, including five in April.
