Vermont reported 194 new Covid-19 cases, 32 hospitalizations and three more deaths Friday.
The state’s seven-day average for new infections is 154, down from 158 on Thursday, according to the Vermont Department of Health dashboard.
Vermont’s seven-day average test positivity rate was 4.6% Friday, up from 4.5% on Thursday. (The test positivity rate includes only PCR tests, not at-home antigen tests.)
The health department reported that 32 people were hospitalized with Covid as of Friday, the same as on Thursday. That includes six people in intensive care, up from four on Thursday.
The state reported three additional Covid deaths on Friday, bringing March’s death total to three. There were 58 deaths in February. In total, 607 people have died from Covid in Vermont since the beginning of the pandemic.
