Vermont legislators kicked off a third pandemic session Tuesday with a brief return to the long-abandoned Statehouse. 

The Covid-19 surge plaguing the state prompted legislators to go remote for at least the first two weeks of the 2022 session, but members of the House returned to Montpelier to authorize the move. The Senate, meanwhile, gaveled in mostly remotely.
