Vermont’s town-by-town data continues to report encouraging signs for the state’s Covid-19 recovery.

Just four small communities are in the highest category of case growth, defined as more than 80 cases per 100,000 people in the past two weeks: Averill, Lunenberg, Westfield and West Haven. An increasing number of places have fallen to the lowest category, defined as less than one recent case per 100,000 people.

Another positive sign is Burlington’s lowering number of Covid cases. The city reported 66 new cases in the past two weeks, a 3% increase — just below the state’s increase of 4%.
