Bill Schubart’s proposal (VTDigger column Dec. 7) that questions “our public school curriculum” offers a marvelously useful formula for the serious business of creating well-rounded citizens. His formula fills many important gaps in traditional elementary education and deserves the full attention of all those involved in that enterprise.
