The state Department of Health reported three new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday. That brings the total number of people diagnosed with the illness in Vermont since the outbreak began in March to 1,131.
Testing sites are open throughout the state for anyone who is asymptomatic and wants a test. Testing sites can be found here: https://humanresources.vermont.gov/popups
Those who have symptoms should call their health care provider for testing.
There were no new deaths reported Tuesday, keeping the total number of people who have died from Covid-19 in Vermont at 55. There are two people hospitalized with Covid-19 and 10 hospitalized with suspected, but not confirmed, cases.
The state reported it has conducted 52,890 tests, an increase of 333 from yesterday..
