This is a conversation you don’t want to miss. VTDigger Editor and Executive Director Anne Galloway will interview acclaimed national security correspondent and author David Sanger on the state of journalism and cybersecurity at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, in Manchester, Vermont. Sanger is the New York Times National Security Correspondent and author of a new book, “The Perfect Weapon: War, Sabotage, and Fear in the Cyber Age.” For years, Sanger has been one of the biggest voices in American journalism on the challenges to the country’s national security. With “The Perfect Weapon” he explains how far more complex the emergence of cyberweapons has made a world that is already afire.
Sanger has been a member of three Pulitzer Prize-winning teams, including in 2017 for international reporting. His bestselling works include “The Inheritance” and “Confront and Conceal.” A regular contributor to CNN, he also teaches national security policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
