[R]UTLAND โ A man who fled Rutland Regional Medical Center last week in advance of a planned psychological evaluation has been found safe in Burlington, according to Rutland police.
Robert Ettori, 20, was located Sunday morning, said police, but they declined to provide more information.

Police set off a large-scale search Wednesday, saying Ettori took off into the woods near the hospital while wearing only boxer shorts. The next day, RRMC President and CEO Thomas Huebner issued a statement regarding the incident.
โYesterday morning, a patient in the Rutland Regional Medical Center Emergency Department eloped. By eloped we mean that they forcibly left our institution against medical advice,โ the statement read. โThe patient was under the care of our health care professionals. They have a difficult job and always seek to balance respect for the patientโs right to independence with the need to maintain safety for both patients and staff.โ
The statement added that a preliminary review showed staff had followed proper procedures, but the hospital would conduct a more detailed review to see if there are โprocesses and systemsโ that could be improved.
