[T]ell Donald Trump that Vermonters do not support prejudiced, mean, egotistical candidates.

Trump is coming to Vermont this week ONLY because he can use our reactions to get free TV time to influence New Hampshire voters.

Yes, we are frustrated by todayโ€™s national politicians and their inability to do almost anything. Yes, structural change is needed. Wall Street should not get subsidies, neither should big oil, gas, solar, wind, or just plain big companies. We are angry.

Trump is feeding that anger and frustration in a very negative way. We must say NO to his growing momentum. Do not abdicate your social responsibility. It does not matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican like me, please do not help promote his campaign.

The best thing we can do, today, is to have the TV cameras that will be following him to Vermont see that most of the seats in the theater are empty. Ask your friends and neighbors who have tickets to hang on to them and NOT to go to hear him. If you do not yet have a ticket, go to FlynnTix.orgย and reserve as many as you can. And do not go.

The best thing we can do, today, is to have the TV cameras that will be following him to Vermont see that most of the seats in the theater are empty.

Yes, it will be an entertaining, absurd show, but by attending the show we are only feeding the fear and mean reactions that he encourages.

Even protesting inside or outside the theater will get him TV coverage.

Send the message that Vermontersโ€™ do not support a person who:

ยท is proud of Vladimir Putinโ€™s support;
ยท has very little respect for women;
ยท wants to build a wall around our country and yet hires illegal aliens;
ยท lies that he is a great businessman when no major U.S. company has filed for bankruptcy more than Trump’s casino empire in the last 30 years … that means that small vendors are not paid what they are owed.

Vermonters are independent, honest, caring people. Let the rest of the country see that.
