Gov. Peter Shumlin said Thursday he will sign legislation requiring the labeling of foods that contain genetically modified organisms (GMO) into law at a Statehouse ceremony at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8. The public is invited to attend the bill signing, a news release said.
