Brandon Alan Frost, age 30, of Barre, Vermont — beloved father, son, brother, nephew, and friend — unexpectedly passed away on April 10, 2026, in Barre, Vermont.
He was born at CVMC in Berlin, Vt., on November 7, 1995, at 11:07 a.m. to Alana Frost.
Brandon attended Washington Village Elementary and Middle School before going on to attend U-32 for most of his high school career. He later finished through the YouthBuild program in Barre.
Brandon loved to cook and serve the community, and he was good at it. He worked on and off throughout the years at the Snack Shack while it was still open in Barre. He also worked at Idletyme Brewery in Stowe, Vermont, for some time. Most recently, he had been working with his father painting houses and doing handyman work, which he was also very good at.
Brandon loved music. He loved listening to it, and he loved playing his guitar. Music was a huge part of his life. He was very artistic and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed sitting by the river and making mini habitats for frogs and other small creatures that lived there. He also loved camping and exploring nature.
Brandon was a father to three beautiful children whom he absolutely adored: his first daughter, Lane; his second daughter, Audrey-Rose; and his son, Akiva. He spent a lot of time with his daughter Audrey-Rose, going to the playground, taking her on nature walks, and sharing music with her.

Brandon had a smile that could light up any room he was in.
He was predeceased by his mother, Alana Frost; his grandparents, Alan Frost and Barbara Trombly; his aunt, Nicole Frost; and his cousin, Alan Holmes.
He is survived by his father, Christopher Colombe; his siblings, Jada Chapin, Barbara Nutbrown, Annette Zingo, Shalyn Madison, and Josh Sanborn; and his aunts, Tracy Frost, Janelle West, Crystal Peake, and Chelsea Frost-Tessier, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He leaves behind his daughter Lane; his daughter Audrey-Rose Theresa Frost and her mother, Brittney Raymond; his son, Akiva, and his biological mother, Amy; as well as many others who cared about him.
A special recognition to Penny and Jamie Granfield for being like another family to him.
He will be deeply missed.
