Dear Reader,

Thanks to feedback and generous support from members like you, VTDigger has launched an updated website and a new logo!

We’re excited for readers to finally see what we’ve been working on for nearly two years. We flipped the proverbial switch on Friday, and some readers who visit vtdigger.org will see the redesign right away. Because of the technical process behind this redesign, other readers may not see the new site until Friday night.

We’re proud of this new design and believe that it will better reflect the excellent quality of the journalism we produce. We spent months researching, designing and developing a visual system that aligned with our member-supported journalism, VTDigger readers’ needs and industry best practices. It will be easier than ever to find the stories that matter the most to you on our website.

Want to learn more about the redesign?

While our entire organization contributed to this process, I want to give a special shoutout to our teammates who worked most closely on it: Managing Editor Maggie Cassidy, Senior Editor Natalie Williams, Creative Director Taylor Haynes, and technical contributors Kyle Evans, Brian Boyer and Joe Boydston.

VTDigger has been informing and engaging Vermonters since its start. And this new look reflects the ongoing commitment we have to the communities we serve. While any change takes some getting used to, we genuinely believe that these improvements will make it easier and more enjoyable to access the local news you rely on.

In pursuit of truth,

Sky Barsch
