Yes, I fully agree that state senators and Vermont House members need access to state employees’ health benefits.

But so do all the rest of the Vermonters who are dealing with unaffordable private policies or no insurance at all.

There is a bill, H.156, just waiting on the wall in the House Health Care Committee room. Why do our legislators feel that they are more important than the rest of Vermonters who either go broke trying to receive help or die without any health care? 

All Vermonters need adequate health care coverage over their entire lifetime.
