Vermont State Police are investigating a road rage incident that took place in Lowell on the morning of May 30. Two male suspects reportedly cut off the two victims and then threw a “solid object” through the windshield of their RV, according to police.
“The weapon used is believed to be a metal item or plug which may be part of a cement mixer or similar masonry equipment,” the state police press release stated.
The suspects fled the scene traveling west on VT-58 in “an older pickup truck, described as reddish/orange,” according to the release. Police searched the area but were not able to locate the suspects or their vehicle. The case is still under investigation.
The victims were identified as James Nutall, 68, and Alice Nutall, 63, of Ohio.
