The state Department of Health reported 10 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday. That brings the total number of people diagnosed with the illness in Vermont since the outbreak began in March to 1,119. 

Cases associated with the Winooski outbreak number 81 as of Thursday night, with one of those people hospitalized. A testing site at the O’Brien Community Center on Malletts Bay Avenue will be open all next week. 

The health department is encouraging people who have attended protests in the last couple of weeks to get tested. Testing sites can be found here: https://humanresources.vermont.gov/popups

There were no new deaths reported Friday, keeping the total number of people who have died from Covid-19 in Vermont at 55. There are two people hospitalized with Covid-19 and 14 hospitalized with suspected, but not confirmed, cases. 

The state reported 1,425 new tests conducted, bringing the total to 48,634.
