As the University of Vermont Health Network braces for a surge of COVID-19 patients, it is closing some clinics and laying off workers in an effort to minimize risk to employees, conserve protective gear, and prioritize care for coronavirus patients. See VTDigger’s story

Vermont’s health commissioner said the state would relax its requirements for coronavirus testing to more quickly isolate patients who test positive.
