The Vermont Department of Health reported 20 new coronavirus cases Saturday, the highest single-day total to date. Seven new residents at Burlington Health & Rehab skilled nursing facility tested positive for the virus, bringing the total at that facility to 12. See VTDigger’s story
Gov. Phil Scott ordered exercise facilities, hair salons, spas and tattoo parlors to close by 8 p.m. on March 23. He also limited non-essential gatherings to no more than 10 people at once in a single space. See VTDigger’s story

Cities around the country are banning evictions during the outbreak.
