[J]oe Biden is scheduled to visit Vermont on Dec. 9 for what is believed to be a book tour event at the Flynn Center in Burlington.
Ahead of the midterm elections, the former vice president, who is reportedly mulling a presidential run, has been making stops around the country and throwing his weight behind Democratic candidates.
Christopher Di Mezzo, a spokesperson for the Vermont Democratic Party, confirmed Biden’s planned visit.
Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who quickly rose to fame representing adult film actress Stormy Daniels in her legal battles with President Donald Trump, is also mulling a Vermont visit, Di Mezzo said.
Avenatti, who says he is seriously considering a presidential run himself, has been stumping around the country, making stops in states including Iowa, Ohio and New Hampshire.
“There are no details yet, there will be details post election,” Di Mezzo said of the possible Avenatti visit. “It looks like he might be coming and if he is he will in some way work with the party.”
