A South Hero man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after accidentally shooting himself in the hip at a pub Sunday evening, police say.
Zeberiah Snow was in the restroom at McKee’s Island Pub and Pizza in South Hero when he accidentally fired his .45-caliber pistol.
The 31-year-old was later taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
Vermont State Police from the St. Albans barracks and local sheriffs responded to a report of a gunshot wound at the restaurant.
Police continue to investigate the incident to see if Snow should face a charge of negligent discharge of a firearm.
