The State of Vermont is dedicating a new conference center this evening in honor of Sen. Sally Fox who died of lung cancer two years ago.

The dedication will be held 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today.

Fox was a longtime House representative and senator from South Burlington who dedicated her legislative career to helping Vermonters in need.

The Senator Sally Fox Conference Center is located at the new State Office Complex in Waterbury.

A four panel painting by Katharine Montstream in honor of Fox will be unveiled at the dedication event.
