Lt. Gov. Phil Scott, a Republican candidate for governor, has released a video about his life and career in construction and politics.
The video is featured on a new campaign website that was launched last week.
“I hope voters will take a few minutes to visit our new site, www.philscott.org, to learn more about my principles and my priorities,” Scott said. “Vermonters can also send me feedback and suggestions about the issues facing Vermont, make a contribution, sign up to volunteer or to receive emails so they’re always up to speed on our campaign to rebuild Vermont’s economic foundation.”
Scott’s campaign says the website outlines his plan “to focus on the fiscal fundamentals, strengthen the economy, make Vermont more affordable, and prioritize state resources in pro-growth areas like job training, higher education and traditional and telecommunications infrastructure, while protecting the most vulnerable.”
Scott formally launched his campaign on Dec. 1. His Republican primary opponent is Bruce Lisman.
