[S]en. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., kicks off his campaign for the Democratic nomination for president Tuesday in Burlington. The 5 p.m. campaign launch will be held at Waterfront Park on Lake Champlain and will feature music by Mango Jam and ice cream by Ben & Jerry’s.
“The formal kickoff will set the stage for the campaign to come,” Sanders said. “I will lay out an ‘Agenda for America,’ which addresses the major crises we face and a vision of a government which works for all of our people and not just the billionaire class.”
