Randy Brock, the Republican candidate for governor, has raised $55,329 over the last 30 days.

The GOP state senator, who hopes to unseat incumbent Democrat Gov. Peter Shumlin, fell short of the $100,000 mark that pundit Eric Davis says he needs to get within striking distance of Shumlin.

Brock in the last filing period, which ended on July 15, loaned himself $300,000. In all, he has raisedย $584,923, and he has received donations from 918 contributors.

Brockโ€™s expenditures total $347,784. He has $237,139 in cash on hand.

Shumlinโ€™s report has not yet been made available to the media.
