Renewable Energy Vermont and Vermont Natural Resources Council held a gubernatorial candidate forum Friday afternoon at the Sheraton in South Burlington. Mark Johnson, host of The Mark Johnson Show on WDEV, moderated. The event’s hosts billed it as the only gubernatorial debate focusing on energy and the environment. (The gubernatorial forum held in Bradford [was also on energy and the environment, but it was not a debate format.)
The audio is divided in two parts to keep the size of each file from getting too large. Elizabeth Courtney of VNRC, Sue Allen of REV, and moderator Mark Johnson of WDEV start things off in Part 1, and Brian Dubie’s opening statement starts at 4’00”.
Carl Etnier shared his recording of the forum with VTdigger.org. Etnier also hosts the programs Equal Time Radio [link: www.equaltimeradio.com] on WDEV, Waterbury and Relocalizing Vermont on WGDR, Plainfield.
