Tsehai Alfred, Intern
Tsehai Alfred is a business reporting intern for VTDigger through the Dow Jones News Fund. She is a rising senior at Columbia University, where she serves as editor in chief and president of the college newspaper, the Columbia Daily Spectator. Before joining VTDigger, she was an intern at City & State New York, covering the 2025 mayoral race and City Council. She has also worked at PBS News as a Gwen Ifill Journalism Fellow and at her local news outlet, the Virgin Islands Consortium.
