Ruth Hare, Managing Editor
Ruth Hare, VTDigger’s managing editor, has been a journalist in Vermont for more than 30 years. She held several roles at the Rutland Herald and Times Argus, including news editor and Sunday Magazine section editor, and spent two years as news editor at VTDigger in the past.
She started her career in local news in Indiana and has also worked in communications for a global policy-focused nonprofit.
