Please join us at Elmwood Meunier funeral home on Wednesday, May 27th at 11 a.m. for services. The service will be followed by the burial at Lakeview Cemetery on North Avenue. Please send any flowers and gifts to the funeral home.
Gaëlle Zya Desir arrived on March 13, 2025 joining her mother, Sabine Fayette in Burlington, VT.
Gaëlle faced many obstacles but was a true fighter. She was strong. Gaëlle was surrounded by so much unconditional love from friends and the community. In Gaëlle’s short time, she made a ginormous impact on so many people; The University of Vermont Medical Center, COTS, The Family Room, Head Start and more.
Gaëlle is loved and remembered by her mother Sabine, and partner Karl. Her sister, Abigaelle, and Aunt Saturne. In addition, so many others.
Gaëlle sadly left us, on May 13, 2026. Gaëlle is predeceased by her grandfather, Sabine’s father, Bazelair Altidor.
