Starting Sunday, the state will allow nursing home residents to have visits with up to two guests who have undergone a questionnaire screening for Covid-19 symptoms. The visits must take place outdoors, Gov. Phil Scott said. Read VTDigger’s story.

Incoming students from UVM and Champlain College were expected to follow strict quarantine protocols and register with the city of Burlington. An inmate extradited from Florida and brought into the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility in Rutland has tested positive for Covid-19, Human Services Secretary Mike Smith said Wednesday. “DOC’s policies kept him from having any contact with the general population,” Smith said.
