
Vermont State Police are investigating a suspicious death in Brownington Wednesday morning, with no arrests announced pending the results of an autopsy.
The investigation began after police received a report of a deceased man at home just outside of Brownington, in Orleans County, at 2 a.m., with first responders discovering a body.
An initial investigation indicated that the incident arose from a dispute involving individuals who knew each other, according to a VSP statement.
The victimโs body was expected to be brought to the Stateโs Chief Medical Examinerโs Office in Burlington for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death, according to VSP.
State Police have yet to announce any arrests related to the incident but did indicate that the parties involved had been identified and accounted for.
