She was My Sister, 2+ years older..
She was smart, could be funny, loved to smile—her eyes were huge, very infectious, hazel in color (like Dad’s)…everyone loved my beautiful sister, Kathy.
We had a great childhood, living on Dan’s Ct in Burlington….attending St Joesph School, later Rice Memorial High (she was class of ‘72; I (Jayne Blow) was class of ‘74, older brother (Dan Blow) was class of ‘70. We had a camp on Porter’s Pt Rd—The Blow Inn—….
Younger brothers, John and Andy, went to public schools in Colchester, moving to Porter’s Point in new home after Kathy married Ray Clavelle in 1976.

Kathy was a very enthusiastic participant in everything, but her passion was reading as a kid. Later, cooking, then gardening, raising a family w/ her one true love, Raymie (they had two sons)…later, two grandsons…
We as kids all loved sunshine* and warmth, so water and swimming was a must…. Travel was a priority when possible. *** Florida, Aruba, then the discovery of Eleuthera, Bahamas—-this became her ‘Happy Place’… she snd Raymie became ‘snowbirds’, until he retired and they moved there permanently. Selling everything in VT except what they decided to pack up and export to the island…..car, included..
The grandkids and sons and family were the only reasons to come back to US (unless for doctors’ appointments and annual mandatory immigration issues)
Unfortunately, her health was always a challenge….in 2024 during their summer trip home, she discovered she had cancer (again)… this battle she could not fight and win, although she tried !!!
November 17, 2024, at the ‘too young’ age of 70 1/2, Kathy joined our departed family members (Dad, Mom and Andy) in the next chapter we love to call Heaven…..
