In the final event of the 2024 Digger Debate Series, two candidates vying to represent Vermont in the U.S. Senate will face off Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
The debate is co-hosted by VTDigger and Vermont Public. It will feature U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Republican nominee Gerald Malloy. Watch it live on this page, VTDigger’s YouTube, or Vermont Public’s main television and radio channels.

The debate will be co-moderated by Shaun Robinson, a state government and economy reporter for VTDigger, and Mikaela Lefrak, the host and senior producer of Vermont Public’s “Vermont Edition.”
Earlier this month, VTDigger hosted debates featuring candidates for governor, lieutenant governor and U.S. House.
