VTDigger will host the leading contenders for Vermontโ€™s sole seat in the U.S. House on Monday, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m.

Incumbent U.S. Rep. Becca Balint, D-Vt., will face Republican/Libertarian nominee Mark Coester in the hourlong debate, which will be live-streamed on VTDiggerโ€™s website. The event will be co-moderated by Statehouse bureau chief Sarah Mearhoff and editor-in-chief Paul Heintz.

Later that week, on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m., VTDigger will team up with Vermont Public for an hourlong debate featuring the leading candidates for U.S. Senate: incumbent Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Republican nominee Gerald Malloy.

This debate will be live-streamed on VTDiggerโ€™s website and will also air live on Vermont Publicโ€™s television and radio stations. It will be co-hosted by Shaun Robinson, a state government and economy reporter for VTDigger, and Mikaela Lefrak, the host and senior producer of Vermont Publicโ€™s โ€œVermont Edition.โ€
