There’s an eclipse coming — have you heard?
Museums and parks, distilleries and ski resorts, sports teams and vineyards — it seems nearly everyone is celebrating the roughly once-in-a-century opportunity to view a total solar eclipse in Vermont on Monday afternoon.
Breweries are releasing eclipse-themed beers with names such as Galaxy Gaze, Path of Totality and Once in a Black Moon. Several will have bands playing the entirety of Pink Floyd’s album, Dark Side of the Moon.
Below is a sampling of some of the places you can witness this unique celestial event, or join in festivities leading up to it. While many of these events are free, some are ticketed or otherwise limited, so it may be best to check in ahead of time if you plan to attend.
