Vermont State Police are investigating two suspicious deaths that occurred in the village of Orleans.
According to a press release issued by state police, an incident was reported shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Water Street, where first responders found the bodies of a man and a woman.
One person has been detained in connection with the incident, police said.
The victims’ bodies are expected to be brought to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington for autopsies. Their names have not been released.
