A Massachusetts man died early Friday morning when stormy weather caused a tree to fall onto his campsite in Somerset, according to Vermont State Police.
Joshua Przybycien, 33, of Palmer, Massachusetts, died at the campsite along Somerset Road, state police said in a press release. Police received a call from Przybycien’s fiancé around 1 a.m., and detectives later learned that the large tree had fallen “while foul weather had passed overhead.”
“This death is not considered suspicious and there is no cause for public concern,” police wrote, noting that an investigation is ongoing.
