Updated at 8:06 p.m.: Vermont State Police said Wednesday night that Katelyn and Ezmay Huntley were found safe.
Vermont State Police said they are looking for a missing Corinth woman and her toddler.
Katelyn Huntley, 31, and Ezmay Huntley, 2, were reported missing to authorities around 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to a Vermont State Police press release.
The mother and daughter were last known to be at their Cookville Road residence on Friday, Aug. 4, police said.
“There are concerns for the welfare of Katelyn and Ezmay,” police wrote.
Adam Silverman, a state police spokesperson, said Wednesday afternoon that authorities do not consider the disappearances suspicious at this time.
Clairissa Fields, a friend and work supervisor who state police said reported the Huntleys missing, wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday that Fields called out of work on Friday and said she would return home on Monday, “but didn’t show.”
According to Fields, Huntley had previously indicated that her friends from out of state had picked her and her daughter up “but we don’t know who exactly picked them up.”
“We are worried about her and ezmays safety and just want to know they are okay!” Fields wrote. She could not immediately be reached for further comment.
