Our guiding motto is “news in pursuit of truth.” The 25 reporters, photographers and editors that fill our newsroom are driven by their integrity and commitment to keeping our readers informed with reliable, high-quality local journalism.
And we want to ensure that Vermont’s children have the tools they need to become lifelong readers and engaged citizens. But 60 percent of low-income Vermont families have no children’s books at home, and many kids can’t access the reading material they need.
For our Spring Membership Drive, VTDigger is partnering with the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) to provide 2,500 books to Vermont kids. Donate to VTDigger in any amount, and an underserved child will receive a brand new book.
