A 31-year-old missing woman was found dead Saturday, a day after she went missing, according to a Burlington Police Department press release.
Police identified the deceased as Ryann J. Collins after notifying her family.
At about 9:47 p.m. on Friday, police received reports of a missing person from concerned friends. Police canvassed known locations and entered the missing person into national search databases.
At about 11:42 a.m. on Saturday, police followed information that led them to North Beach and then Rock Point, where, a little after noon, they found the missing person deceased, the release stated.
No cause of death or further details were shared but “neither criminality nor misadventure is currently suspected,” police said in the release.
