Republican U.S. House nominee Liam Madden, Democratic nominee Becca Balint and Libertarian nominee Ericka Redic are set to debate Thursday, Sept. 15 as part of the 2022 Digger Debate Series.

The 2022 Digger Debate Series returns this week and next with a focus on who should represent Vermont in Congress. 

The two major party candidates for the stateโ€™s open U.S. Senate seat, Republican Gerald Malloy and Democrat Peter Welch, are scheduled to face off this Thursday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester. A limited number of tickets are still available now by clicking here. The event will also be livestreamed. 

The Senate debate will be moderated by VTDigger reporters Sarah Mearhoff and Riley Robinson. Itโ€™s sponsored by the Necrason Group. 

The following Thursday, Sept. 15, candidates for Vermontโ€™s open U.S. House seat will take part in an online-only VTDigger debate at 6 p.m. Participants will include Democratic nominee Becca Balint, Republican nominee Liam Madden and Libertarian nominee Ericka Redic.
