In response to readers and community members, the VTDigger team has been expanding our regional coverage, bringing to light stories of statewide significance from different corners of Vermont. But there’s still more we need to do.

In recent years, our team of regional reporters has grown to eight, including new positions dedicated to Franklin and Grand Isle counties; Rutland and Bennington counties; and Windsor and Windham counties.
When we have regional reporters on the ground, we are able to surface stories from the area that would otherwise go unreported. We get to know the local community and build relationships so we can tell stories that matter. None of this would be possible without member support.
