Police arrested a man in Richford Thursday who they allege stole or damaged more than $88,000 worth of property in Franklin County in the past several months.

Larry Garrow Jr., 33, was arraigned Thursday in Franklin County district court in St. Albans on two counts of grand larceny, one count of burglary, one count of felony unlawful mischief and one count of misdemeanor unlawful mischief, police said.

He was held at the Northwest Correctional Facility for lack of $1,000 bail.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that its deputies served two search warrants in Richford Thursday morning at locations Garrow either lives at or frequents. Deputies seized several items Garrow allegedly used to commit thefts, as well as items he allegedly stole, the department said.

Police said they found Garrow at one of the locations and took him into custody without incident.

The sheriff’s office said it’s still investigating other thefts or burglaries in which Garrow is also a suspect.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 802-524-2121.
