Vermont health officials reported six new cases of Covid-19 on Monday, bringing the total in the state since the beginning of the outbreak in March to 1,301.
The death toll remains at 56; the last reported death was June 18. There are two people hospitalized with the virus and eight hospitalized with suspected, but not confirmed, cases.
The state reported it has conducted 76,581 tests, an increase of 730 from Sunday.
People who have symptoms consistent with Covid-19 should call their health care provider for testing.
Anyone who desires a test can get a referral through their health care provider. Additionally, health department testing sites are open throughout the state for anyone who is asymptomatic and wants a test.
