The Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles is set to restart its certified driver’s license permit testing beginning next week.
In early June, the DMV announced that it would begin to reopen its services — which were shut down because of the Covid-19 pandemic — beginning with online learner’s permit tests and in-person driver’s license tests.
DMV spokesperson Amy Tatko said after that, the department’s priority was on motorcycle testing.
But as of Tuesday, Tatko said the DMV is now accepting appointments for CDL permits, which will be offered starting next week at the department’s offices in South Burlington, Rutland, and the Berlin VTrans Training Center site.
Appointments can be made by calling or completing an online form.
