The Department of Health reported three new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus Thursday, bringing the total number of positive tests in the state since the beginning of the outbreak to 932. No new deaths related to the virus were reported. Fifty-three people have died of the illness in Vermont.

The department announced that anyone who lives or works in Vermont and does not have symptoms of Covid-19 can be tested for the virus at pop-up testing sites around the state. The department said they encourage health care workers, first responders, child care providers and people returning to Vermont to consider being tested. The sites are led by Health Department teams, with support from EMS units and members of the Vermont National Guard. All test sites operate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. People can make appointments online.
